Our leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals who are passionate about advancing the mission of Inner Circle and ensuring that every aspect of our organization operates with excellence.

David Mikula

David Mikula

Chief Executive Officer

David brings 27 year of experience in the health care industry to Inner Circle, having held senior leadership roles at some of the largest health care companies in the country.

David’s most recent role was chief operating officer at Access TeleCare, where he helped lead the nation’s largest provider of specialty telemedicine services. Prior to that, he served as the chief development officer at Amedisys, a leader in home health and hospice care. David also held the position of SE region chief operating officer at Kindred Healthcare, where he managed 23 hospitals and 6,500 employees across four states.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, hiking, and volunteering with his church.

Sarah Varillas

Sarah Varillas

Chief Clinical Officer

Sarah previously held director- and executive-level roles at various autism services organizations. She has leadership experience managing clinical teams across multiple clinics and states, as well as experience developing treatment programs for clients as a BCBA. In addition to her clinical role, she also serves as an academic associate with Arizona State University working to advance autism research and education.

Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and completed her master’s degree with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis at Arizona State University.

Travis Kmita

Travis Kmita

Chief Financial Officer

Travis is a CPA from Nashville who has spent the majority of his career in the health care field. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He spent the first seven years of his career at the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) focused on revenue cycle operations.

Over the past six years he has led finance teams at smaller companies in the health care and telecom spaces. Travis lives in Nashville with his wife and two small boys. In his free time, he enjoys playing/watching sports and being outside as much as possible.

Chad Poncinie

Chief Operating Officer

Chad, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), started his career in ABA 15 years ago providing therapy to clients across Ohio and Florida. Seeing firsthand how impactful ABA was for children, families, and employees, Chad began focusing on developing creative ways to expand service footprints to give more families and children greater access to high quality therapy and care. With that mission always at the forefront, Chad has had the opportunity to positively impact the clinical and operational arenas in ABA as an executive with start-ups and some of the largest ABA providers in the country.
Chad earned his psychology/economics bachelor’s degree from Otterbein University and completed his master’s degree in behavior analysis and therapy from The University of Southern Illinois at Carbondale.
Outside of ABA, Chad enjoys spending time with his two boys, wife, and 2 Carolina dogs.
Nicole Bowlby

Vice President of People Operations & Talent Acquisition

As the vice president of operations and talent acquisition, Nicole’s mission is to foster an inclusive and supportive company culture that inspires our talented team to reach new heights.

With a deep-rooted passion for the healthcare and the field of ABA, Nicole brings a wealth of experience in driving operational excellence and nurturing top talent. She has spent her last two decades in healthcare and operations working for companies like Walgreens and Amazon and in her recent years has found her love for ABA working for a multi-state ABA provider.

Beyond the professional realm, Nicole is a firm believer in embracing creativity and finding joy in the little things. When she is not strategizing for our company’s success, you will find her indulging in DIY projects, where she relishes the opportunity to transform ideas into reality.

Family holds a special place in Nicole’s heart, and she is grateful to share her life’s journey with her two children, two dogs, and husband. Together, they embrace adventure and traveling to new places.

Mallory Morrison

Mallory Morrison

Vice President of Business Development & Marketing

As vice president of business development and marketing, Mallory leads the community outreach team with a mission of increasing awareness of community resources and services for families. She began her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2011 as an intake & authorizations coordinator; navigating the complex and new world of insurance coverage for children diagnosed with autism. Over the last decade, she has held many roles in the ABA field including working closely with diverse private and governmental funding sources, intake and authorizations, marketing, growth, private business consulting, project management, operations, and various leadership roles in both small private agencies and large multi-state organizations. She is driven by a personal passion to educate, empower, and advocate for families and children diagnosed with autism.  

In her free time you will find her caring for her 75+ houseplants, traveling with her husband, or hanging out with her two dogs.  

Kristen Morgan

Kristen Morgan

Assistant Vice President of Operations

Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Her career started in the behavioral health field within various settings of residential treatment, school-based therapy, and inpatient treatment for children. After 11 years in behavioral health, she made the jump to ABA therapy in 2019 with a focus on operations.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake, and camping.

Kylee Corken

Director of Treatment Development

Kylee Corken, M.A., BCBA-LBA is an accomplished Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has over 9+ years of experience working with clients and their families working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Kylee began her career working with individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders in both educational and therapeutic settings; and since has held a variety of positions in the field of ABA including Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Treatment Director, and is now serving Inner Circle Autism Network as the Director of Treatment Development. Kylee is passionate about ensuring every client, no matter their age, skill level, or behavior profile, has equal access opportunities to receiving high quality therapeutic services individualized to their unique needs. Kylee has an extensive background working as a member and leader of a multidisciplinary team, providing a variety of therapeutic services to shared clients; and believes working collaboratively with other disciplines creates the most meaningful impact on client outcomes. Kylee’s current career focus includes positively impacting clinicians on a broader scale through clinical development and training, and creating clinical processes and procedures that demonstrate measurable improvements across clinical outcomes. Kylee is known for her clinical leadership, passion, and commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

Kylee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Child Development and American Sign Language (ASL), as well as a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has a strong background in teaching procedures, behavior intervention, and assessment across a wide range of client ages, skill, and behavior profiles; and has excelled in previous clinical leadership roles overseeing multidisciplinary teams providing center, home, and community-based ABA, speech, and occupational therapy services. Kylee currently serves Inner Circle Autism Network as the Director of Treatment Development. 

Laney Andrade

Revenue Cycle Manager

Laney has worked in various parts of the insurance industry for 15 years, and specifically in the ABA space for over five years. She has experience in contracting with new insurance companies, which also happens to be her favorite part of what she does- helping to provide ABA therapy to as many families as we can in our community.

She currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband Louis and their two boys: Tylan and Oliver. They enjoy staying active, and their weekends are typically spent at the boys’ sporting events.

Senior Operations Director - Edmond

Annalee Thomas is a dynamic and accomplished professional with a solid business background and a passion for leading people. Known for her warm and welcoming demeanor, she cultivates a culture of inclusivity and fosters strong ethical values within the organizations she serves. Annalee creates an environment where everyone feels heard and appreciated, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among colleagues.

Annalee’s dedication extends beyond her professional life, as a wife she is deeply committed to her family and believes in the importance of work-life balance for a fulfilling and meaningful existence. She actively encourages her team members and colleagues to prioritize their personal lives, recognizing that a fulfilling life outside of work contributes to overall happiness and well-being. She believes that everyone has the potential to lead a healthier and happier life, and she actively supports her partners in setting aspirations and goals to achieve that. Senior Operations Director - Springdale

Lexie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas. Her personal experience and connection to individuals with special needs drew her to the ABA field. She started her career as an RBT and quickly found her passion for the field through direct therapy. As she grew in the field, she pivoted to operations and discovering new ways to continue making a difference in the lives of children with autism. She strives to lead with ethical values and quality of care for clients and families at the forefront. She believes nothing is more rewarding than equipping a child with the tools they need and watching them flourish. 

Her hobbies include gardening and taking care of her plants, hiking and walking with her two dogs, reading, exploring the great outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. 

Tyler Callaway

Operations Director - Northwest Oklahoma City

Tyler is a visionary leader with a passion for transforming businesses into thriving centers of growth and opportunity. She has over a decade of experience in leadership and management. She specializes in relationship building, culture creation, and servant leadership.

Tyler began her journey in ABA because of a personal passion for individuals on the spectrum. With an extensive background in business management, and a personal connection to ASD, Tyler provides a unique perspective for our centers. She understands that healthcare is not just about treatment; it’s about nurturing connections, fostering a supportive culture, and leading with a servant’s heart. She believes that strong relationships are the cornerstone of healthcare excellence, leading to improved patient outcomes and a more satisfied workforce.

Outside of the clinic, Tyler enjoys quality time with her family. She loves taking walks with her mastiff, listening to audio books and cooking elaborate meals for her husband and son.
