Referring Clinicians
Inner Circle Autism Network partners with physicians and other healthcare clinicians to help children with autism access individualized, center-based ABA therapy.
Who We Serve
Inner Circle provides center-based ABA therapy for children ages 2–10 with autism.
To begin services, the child must have a medical diagnosis of autism from a pediatrician, neurologist, or diagnostic professional. If a child does not yet have a diagnosis, our team can help the family better understand what diagnostic steps may be needed before ABA therapy intake can move forward.

Coordination of Care
We value strong clinical partnerships and believe children are best supported when clinicians, families, and therapy teams work together.
At Inner Circle, collaboration may include:
Reviewing referral concerns and presenting needs
Incorporating relevant diagnostic or medical information into treatment planning
Maintaining communication when provider input is needed
Supporting shared goals related to behavior, communication, development, and daily functioning

The Referral Process
We aim to make the process straightforward for clinicians and families.
Referral Received
Once we receive your referral, our team reviews it and contacts the patient’s family.
Intake and Clinical Review
We gather the documentation needed to move forward, including diagnosis and insurance information, and determine whether the child may be a fit for services at Inner Circle.
Assessment and Treatment Planning
If appropriate, the child is scheduled for an evaluation. The clinical team then develops an individualized treatment plan based on assessment findings, family input, and clinical need.
Insurance Authorization and Start of Care
Once the treatment plan is complete, it is submitted for insurance authorization. After approval, the family is guided through scheduling and service start.

Clinician FAQ
Support at Inner Circle begins right away and continues beyond the initial first few weeks of onboarding. BCBAs and RBTs are backed by experienced clinical leaders and supervisors who provide ongoing guidance and mentorship so support continues as responsibilities grow.
At ICAN, we give new BCBAs time to learn our systems, build relationships, and get comfortable in their role. Caseloads ramp gradually over the first three months: 33% in month one, 66% in month two, and full capacity in month three.
Clinical guidance comes from experienced BCBA professionals and clinical leaders who understand the work firsthand. BCBAs in leadership positions have met clinical and tenure milestones before qualifying for those positions.
Our clinicians work within a collaborative team structure that encourages shared problem-solving, ongoing communication, and support across roles. The goal is to create a strong environment for both employees and clients. Clinicians also have the opportunity to collaborate with other clinicians like speech and occupational therapists for clients who have external sources of care and support. Our internal Clinical Consultation Network, for complex cases, gives our clinicians access to subject-matter experts from prestigious institutions and backgrounds.
Inner Circle offers clinicians different support depending on where they are in their career and growth, from onboarding and mentorship to continuing education, career growth paths, and access to experienced clinical leaders for mentorship and guidance. BCBA career growth at Inner Circle is designed around experience-based promotions that give clinicians access to greater experiences, responsibilities, and paths. That means support is not one-size-fits-all and can evolve as clinicians grow in experience and responsibility.
The clearest difference is that support is tied to leadership experience and culture, not just process. With a people-first culture, ongoing mentorship, and a focus on professional growth, which helps make support feel more embedded in the day-to-day experience.
Inner Circle provides center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children aged 2–10 with a medical diagnosis of autism.
A medical diagnosis of autism by a qualified clinician, such as developmental pediatrician, neurologist, or psychologist is required to begin ABA services.
Families can connect with our team at any time, and we can help them understand what documentation or diagnostic steps may still be needed before intake for ABA services can move forward.
The most helpful documents to include with a referral are autism diagnosis documentation, well child visit notes or evaluations, insurance information, and parent or caregiver contact information.
Once our team receives and reviews the referral, we contact the family directly to discuss next steps.
Our team may follow up to request additional information or to update you during the enrollment process. Your office can also reach out at any time for updates.
We are in-network with most major insurance plans, including Medicaid. Our team works with families whose plans do not include Inner Circle to review insurance status and explain available options.
The referral process varies based on documentation, insurance authorization, and service availability at the selected location.
