Center-Based ABA Therapy

At an Inner Circle center, your child has opportunities to practice social skills and make new friends. As with all ABA services at Inner Circle, treatment is individualized to your child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Why Center-Based ABA Therapy?

Children learn through practice, repetition, relationships, and everyday routines. A center-based environment gives your child dedicated space for ABA therapy, access to a consistent clinical team, and opportunities to practice skills throughout the day. At Inner Circle, therapy is individualized to your child and can include one-on-one teaching, play, peer interaction, transitions, communication, and other skills tied to their treatment goals. The goal is to help your child build meaningful skills they can use at home, at school, and in the community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need an autism diagnosis before starting ABA?2026-09-10T13:16:51-05:00

A medical diagnosis of autism completed by a qualified clinician, such as a pediatrician, psychologist, or neurologist is required by insurance companies to begin ABA services.

Can my child be diagnosed with autism by their school?2026-09-10T13:17:09-05:00

Insurance plans require the autism diagnosis and testing be completed by a medical clinician like a developmental pediatrician, neurologist, or psychologist to authorize services.

Is ABA therapy center-based or home-based?2026-09-10T13:17:30-05:00

At Inner Circle, ABA therapy is center-based.

Do parents participate in ABA therapy?2026-09-10T13:17:47-05:00

Parent and caregiver involvement is an important part of the ABA therapy process. Parents and caregivers have regular parent training sessions with their child’s BCBA to support consistency and help skills carry over into everyday life and be generalizable outside of our clinic. Parents are also welcome at any time to observe their child’s ABA sessions.

How many hours of ABA therapy will my child receive each week?2026-09-10T13:18:02-05:00

During your child’s assessment, the BCBA will get to know your child as an individual and work with you to develop measurable goals. Based on your child’s needs and their treatment goals, the BCBA will make a medical recommendation for hours of therapy per week your child will need. Just like the treatment plan, these hours are individualized to each child, and we do not have a set number of hours we recommend.

How is progress measured?2026-09-10T13:18:21-05:00

In each ABA therapy session, your child’s behavior therapist will track data related to their individualized goals. Your child’s BCBA uses ongoing data collection, observation, and goal tracking to monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
